Photokina Exhibit

Photokina is the number one Photography trade fair in the world, around 181.464 visitors from 165 nations, attended the fair this past september 2010.

Under the title "Beyond the evident" the photographer Edgar E. Sacayón will be showing UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Guatemala in an unusual way. By using a large-format camera and an infrared-sensitive trilinear scanning system, he has created mystical images focusing on the all too easily overlooked details of the most beautiful places in Guatemala.

The exhibit was donated to the Guatemalan embassy in Berlin, for their use to promote our cultural and natural heritage. Gabriel Aguilera, Guatemalan Ambassador in Germany, his wife, and Edgar E. Sacayon and Jose Cajas.
